Life: 12 things to remember more often

I wrote this post a long time ago and for some reason I never got round to posting it. Sometimes it doesn't feel right to post certain things but somehow today seems right. Things have been a bit rubbish recently with what feels like lots of bad news but sometimes it's good to put things in perspective.
1. Tell the people you love that you love them as much as possible. They won't be around forever.
2. There will be bad days but there will be so many amazing ones as well.
3. You don't have to talk to someone every single day to know they will be there in a crisis. Your best friends will always pull through.
4. Stand up for yourself. Sometimes you do know what you're talking about.
5. You're still trying to figure it out and that's totally fine.
6. The best way to be happy with someone else is to be happy with yourself.
7. Don't be afraid to ask for help. People don't bite and most of the time they love to talk about what they know (and sometimes what they don't know!).
8. Listen to your parents, most of the time they know the right thing to do.
9. Learn to let go. Some people just aren't worth fighting for and it'll take you far too long to realise that. You're a much better person than that.
10. Life's too short to carry on hating that one person. Move on.
11. You can't please everyone.
12. Be happy.
